We, as humans, have a gut-full of microbes, in fact, our guts are teaming with trillions of bacteria and other microorganisms. Learning about our microbiome is the first step on any gut health journey. This series of classes is based on the 5 R Framework remove, replace, reinoculate, repair and rebalance*, a gut health protocol used in functional medicine and the principles of the Microbiome Diet. We created this practical program to help you to start your healthy gut journey.
We began, last month, by removing the first five common gut stressors; processed foods, sugars, trans-fats, unhealthy carbohydrates/gluten grains and dairy and added in beautiful, delicious, real nutrient-dense foods that help you feel energized.
